Volume 1, Number 1 – Journal of Maritime Business Management (JMBM)
This inaugural issue of Journal of Maritime Business Management (JMBM) presents a collection of scholarly articles focusing on business and management studies within the maritime industry. The topics covered include the shipping and port sectors, as well as the development of the blue economy, employing a multidisciplinary approach that integrates management, economics, entrepreneurship, and technology.
In this issue, contributions from authors come from several leading academic institutions in Indonesia, namely Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Dr. Soetomo Surabaya, and Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya. This cross-institutional collaboration reflects JMBM’s commitment to advancing knowledge and promoting best practices in the maritime business sector in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.
This issue is expected to make a significant scholarly contribution and serve as a valuable reference for academics, practitioners, and stakeholders in developing a competitive maritime sector with global competitiveness.
